Embroidery.
When it comes to embroidery, it’s important to consider the fabric being used. Embroidery involves creating a design by sewing thread onto the fabric, and the tension of the design can put a strain on the fabric. This is why it’s crucial to choose a fabric that can withstand the rigidity of the embroidery design.
In general, it’s best to avoid embroidering large fills or complex designs on lightweight fabrics like those commonly used for t-shirts. This is because the tension from the embroidery design can cause the fabric to pucker or even tear. However, small and simple designs can work well on lightweight fabrics if the tension is carefully managed.
When it comes to heavier fabrics like denim or corduroy, embroidery can be a great way to add a unique touch to the garment. These fabrics can handle the tension of the embroidery design, making it possible to embroider more complex designs without worrying about damage to the fabric.
At Logos, we take great care in choosing the appropriate fabric for each embroidery project. We also use the latest technology and techniques to manage the tension of the design, ensuring that your garment or fabric item looks stunning and remains intact for a long time. Whether you’re looking for embroidery for a t-shirt, jacket, hat, or any other fabric item, we’re here to help you create a beautiful design that will stand the test of time.
Our typical turnaround time is 10-14 business days depending on our schedule.
NONE.
Embroidery requires a special file type called a DST file. Your artwork is converted from a vector image into a stitch file that basically tells the embroidery machine what to sew. Depending on the intricacy of your artwork, costs vary but usually are within the $35-$55 range for digitizing your artwork.
